ITINERARY
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Enjoy a morning tour of Old Delhi, where you can visit the ancient monument of Red Fort and crowded bazaars of Chandni Chowk, one of the most popular places to shop at. Later you can visit Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and the Raj Ghat.
A tour to New Delhi where you can visit the Qutab Minar and the colorful Birla Mandir.Besides this; a drive along Rajpath would let you see sights as the Parliament, President’s Palace, and India Gate. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi – Mathura
Morning drive to Mathura situated at a distance of about 147 kms. Upon arrival in Mathura, check into the hotel. Mathura is an ancient cultural and religious center. It is also known as ‘Brij Bhoomi’ as Krishna, the popular incarnation of Vishnu is believed to have been born in Mathura.
On this pilgrimage tour you can also visit Vrindavan.Later in the evening return to the Temple for evening aarti. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Mathura – Agra – Allahabad
Early morning, drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra directly proceed for sightseeing tour.
Visit the famous Taj Mahal, the famous Mughal monument; constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal .The white structured monument is known to be a symbol of love. The central structure has four small domes surrounding the huge, central dome. It becomes a must visit on your cultural tour. Here you can also visit the city of Fatehpur Sikri, the city built in the 16th century by the Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Visit Red Fort, which lies, on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. Akbar as his citadel built it over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat. Afternoon transfer to the Railway Station for the train to Allahabad.Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Allahabad – Varanasi
Our next destination on this North India pilgrimage tour is Allahabad, known as a holy city. Being the meeting point of India’s two most sacred rivers, the Ganges and the Yamuna, it is believed to have great soul changing powers and is an important pilgrimage site.
Afternoon, drive to Varanasi, situated at a distance of about 135 kms. On arrival in Varanasi, check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Varanasi
Early morning drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world’s oldest and most important religions. Varanasi is home to many Hindu temples situated near the River Ganges. Later you can visit the colorful bazaars, world famous for Banaras Silks.
One of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C. Here you will witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Varanasi – Delhi
After lunch leave for Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Delhi
Early morning transfer to the International airport to catch a flight to your onward destination.
